MIAMI – August 10, 2022 – Last night’s  premiere of Telemundo’s Top Chef VIP ranked #1 in Spanish-language TV during its 7-9pm timeslot, delivering 379,000 Adults 18-49 and over 1.1 million total viewers, according to Nielsen. Locally, the epic cooking competition hosted by Colombian actress Carmen Villalobos, ranked as the #1 show regardless of languagein Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Phoenix, and Orlando in its timeslot, and the #1 show in Spanish-language TV in Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, and Atlanta, among Adults 18-49 years old. 

According to Talkwalker Social Content Ratings, the premiere of Top Chef VIP became the #1 most social Spanish-language entertainment program based on total interactions and video views, with 114,300 total interactions and 339.6K video view counts across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. On digital, theTop Chef VIP premiere ranked as Telemundo’s highest reality premiere in live linear starts and total minutes since 2021.

Featuring two-hour weekday episodes full of adrenaline, drama and surprises, Top Chef VIP presents a group of 16 celebrities competing in a series of cooking challenges in the most demanding kitchen on TV to test their skills and conquer the palates of the three prominent chefs who will judge their performance and effort when cooking. Hosted by renowned actress Carmen Villalobos, alongside a judging panel made up of chefs Antonio de Livier, Adria Marina Montaño and Juan Manuel Barrientos, each of these celebrities will bring a mix of creativity, excitement, and a dash of drama throughout their journey in this epic family-friendly reality competition to win the covetedTop Chef VIP title and $100,000 cash prize.
